The Last Few Months

Well it has been a while since I posted. Since I went back to work. I have not had much time to do much more then play with Braxton after work and on the weekends that I have him.

After I started working for Lifetime Products, I decided to buy a house. My mom was very patient while she let us stay at her house while I looked. I spent about 6 months looking for the right one for me and finally find a cute townhome in NSL. I love that it is off of a bike trail and that there is a park perfect for Braxton a few doors down. I closed on it in March and with my dad's help repainted the entire thing. I finally hung the last picture up last weekend. I love having my own home. Braxton is finally comfortable here and after sleeping with me for the past 7-8 months is finally sleeping in his own bed again.

Here are some pictures of Braxton over the past couple of months. The newest is on top...

He is such a happy little boy. I picked him up early from work one day and we played at the park and then stopped to get an ice cream cone. He is now running and loves to read books, ifact we have 3 books we have to read everynight before bed.

I bought some of the marshmellow eggs for easter and he had fun taking them in and out of the carton. He loves to see how things work and how they go together.

This is Harley. Braxton loves him and Harley will just lay there and let him lay all over him and give him loves. Too bad all dogs where not this mellow.

Braxton is not scared of much. In fact the only thing I can say for sure that he is scared of are loud noises.

He was a great helper trying to unpack, at least as long as I was in his sights. He was not too sure of all of the change. But he has adjusted and will now go everywhere in the house without me at his side.

December

December was very crazy month, Braxton's hair says it all. We had the whole family here for Christmas and since i am living with my mom right now, there were only 2 places for everyone to stay. Good thing we all like each other.

I went to Australia for a week, for work. These are some jelly fish from the beach.
We arrived on Sunday and went to a nature preserve. Here are some of the pictures.

Yes, You could touch the Kangaroo's and feed them. Just be careful you do not want to pick a fight with them because they are very muscular.

This picture is the end of his sit with Santa, I was waiting for my cousin to take a picture with his camera and missed the picture of Braxton looking at Santa touching his beard.

We went down to St George a few weeks ago to help Jenny and Tim. Since Jenny had her surgery. We went to the park and they had the perfect playground for the little kids that they could play on and was not to high.

Braxton is putting the bark on the slide and Kaleb is brushing it off.
After Braxton went down the slide he decided to try and go back up. He was very good at going down the slide, he would back up like he was going down the stairs.

Cute Jakey boy. He had soo much fun climbing around with Braxton

I Love his smile. What a happy Boy!

October

I started a job a couple of days before Braxton's first Birgthday. I am soo grateful that I got to stay home for the first year of his life. For his 1st birthday he got to have 2 parties. Here is a cute picture eating his cake. He is growing up so fast and is soo smart. He is not walking all over but will walk up to 10 steps at a time. As soon as he feels like he is losing his balance he sits down. He is a very observant boy and watches everything everyone does.

Here is Braxton and Jacob playing with one of the toys that he got for his birthday.

We went to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and he liked pounding on the pumpkins and hearing the noise they made.

So he likes to pull the drawer out under his bed and sit in it to play with his toys. It is soo cute and funny.

We were standing outside in the parking lot talking when Jenny and Tim came up for the weekend. I set Braxton on the trunk of my car and my little monkey climbed up to the top.
He will climb everything possible. He climbed over the booth at a restaurant the other day and the step stool and boxes what ever he can climb on.

NO FEAR!!!

Jacob and Braxton are fighting over grandma's necklace. They loved playing with it and shaking it out of the other person's hands.

Toilet Paper

As you can see from the pictures below, your toilet paper is not safe when Braxton is around. He thought it was so fun and I had to laugh because of his great big smiles and giggles. Sorry Grandma, but at least he did not un-roll it into the toilet.

July

Now that Braxton is moving and all over the place we stay very busy. Here are a few of the things he likes to do and that we did this month.

Playing the piano, he can actually reach the keys if he stands on his tip toes and the piano bench is pushed in.

He loves to be outside. So it was warm so we turned the sprinkler on. He kept sticking his face in the water and giggling.

We have been helping Grandma Allred put together her classroom. Grandma gave him a piece of red vine licorice.

Grandma Jane let us come up and ride her horse. Here is Milo and Braxton on the horse. As you can see he has no fear.

We went to This Is the Place Park and had lunch at Uncle Alan's

We also went up to the cabin one Sunday and the kids had fun playing in the river and watching the toy boats come out under the bridge. Of course Braxton wanted to be in the river where he could get all the rocks he wanted to. He loves to eat rocks.

He is going for more.
